Selank

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed in Russia for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It is a Tuftsin analog with modifications for improved stability. Unlike benzodiazepines, it does not cause sedation or withdrawal. Mechanism involves modulation of GABA receptors and neurotrophic factors.
