Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Amino Axiom ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by AntiGravity Ventures. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By accessing or using Amino Axiom, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, discontinue use of the platform.

2. Information We Collect
Account Data
When you create an account: email address, display name, and (if using OAuth) your Google profile name and avatar. We do not store your Google password.
Usage Data
Pages visited, search queries submitted, compounds viewed, calculator inputs, and interaction timestamps. This data is used to improve the platform and is not sold to third parties.
Research Tracking Data (Personal Mode)
If you use Personal Mode: research log entries, protocol configurations, inventory records, and wellness notes. This data is stored encrypted in your account and is never shared without your explicit consent.
Push Notification Data (Mobile App)
If you enable notifications in the mobile app, we store a push notification token and your device platform (iOS or Android), tied to your account, so we can deliver the alerts you configure. These identifiers are deleted when you sign out of the mobile app and when you delete your account.
Apple Health Data (iOS App)
The iOS app can read sleep duration and body mass from Apple Health, only after you grant permission in iOS and confirm each value in the app before it is saved. Nothing is read in the background. Values you confirm are stored in your wellness log under your account, alongside entries you type in, and are deleted with your account. Health data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for advertising or analytics.
Technical Data
IP address (anonymized after 30 days), browser type, device type, and referring URL for security and analytics purposes.
Community Content
Posts, comments, and votes you submit to the Amino Asylum are stored and publicly visible under your chosen display name.
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Third-Party Services
We use the following sub-processors. Each has its own privacy policy:

We use affiliate links to vendor sites. Clicking these links may set cookies on those third-party sites. We earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no cost to you. Vendor sites have their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
- ◈Account data (email, profile): deleted within 30 days
- ◈Personal Mode logs, protocols, and inventory: deleted immediately
- ◈Push notification tokens (mobile app): deleted when you sign out of the mobile app and on account deletion
- ◈Amino Asylum posts and comments: anonymized (author shown as [deleted]) unless you request full removal
- ◈Analytics events: retained in aggregate, anonymized form for up to 2 years
- ◈Backups: purged within 90 days of account deletion
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights. Submit requests via our contact page:

Delete your account and personal data directly from account Settings.

Export your research logs and protocol data as JSON

Limit how we process your data in certain circumstances

Withdraw marketing email consent at any time
EU/UK RESIDENTS: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have violated your privacy rights.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures: TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, Row-Level Security on all database tables, rate limiting on API endpoints, and regular security reviews.
No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly via our contact page rather than publicly disclosing it.
9. Children's Privacy
Amino Axiom is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via a platform notice and email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
