Has anyone been in an actual NCT trial?

I was a participant in a Phase 1 semaglutide oral formulation trial back in 2017. Curious if other people in this community have actual trial experience. The contrast between formal trial protocols and how research peptide protocols get discussed online is huge.

The blinding, the visit cadence, the bloodwork frequency, the side effect documentation — totally different rigor than what most people do at home.
