Why is dihexa research dead

Massive potency claims relative to BDNF stimulation, decent mechanistic story, then nothing. The Harding lab work was promising. Clinical translation never materialized.

I suspect it's the typical pattern — pharmaceutical companies pursue it, run into dose-response or specificity problems in larger trials, quietly abandon. But the public-facing literature trail just goes cold around 2014-2015.
