SURMOUNT-5 just dropped. 20.2% tirz vs 13.7% sema at 72 weeks. About 6.5 percentage points favoring tirz which is in line with what cross-trial analysis had been predicting for years.
Finally we have direct head-to-head data in obesity (not just T2D from SURPASS-2). The gap is real and consistent across endpoints.
