Clinical Trial Phase II

The second stage of human testing, designed to evaluate efficacy and further assess safety in a larger group of 100-300 participants who have the condition being studied. Phase II trials help determine optimal dosing, refine the understanding of side effects, and provide initial evidence of whether the compound produces the desired biological effect. Approximately 33% of compounds advance from Phase II to Phase III.
