Lyophilized (Freeze-Dried)

A preservation method where a substance is frozen and then subjected to vacuum pressure to remove water through sublimation. Lyophilization is the standard preservation method for research peptides because it dramatically increases shelf life and stability compared to liquid formulations. Lyophilized peptides appear as a white or off-white powder or cake in the vial and require reconstitution before use.
